This is me…

I’m a Mexican American Canadian. Let your imagination do the rest.

Just kidding. All stereotypes aside, there is usually always something…happening…to me.

I can be found singing, reading, dancing, listening to music, crocheting, frolicking in a flower-field, swimming like a mermaid, laughing in an overly exuberant manner, eating cupcakes, helping babies come into the world, and writing about everyday life.

I’ve been made stronger by living a Gypsy-like lifestyle as a kid – surviving 4 years in the wilderness – suffering through sexual abuse and loss – living with a crazy Mom and almost-meeting an even crazier Dadbeing an illegal immigrant for 13 years and a non-deported Permanent Resident for the past three.

When you add a husband (Mr. Steve) raised by British parents and tomcat (Walter) who goes through PMS on the regular,Β  it makes me realize pretty easily how blessed I am.

Comments are always welcome; I love to make new friends. Let’s have a lemonade and chat, mmkay? Mmkay. πŸ™‚

  1. Ha! I found you, but still not your music. Still searching. Not to worry, please, there are lots of good people who like, love, cherish, enjoy you, no doubt! .. and others yet to find you. You are so extremely well expressed in the written word; wish I was! I will bookmark and follow the blog, although it seems unsettlingly like picking up your diary and reading it. Please do not let the world beat you down. Normalcy is not an option for some and that is golden important. However, a tough road to travel, I know.

  2. I’m so glad you found me! πŸ™‚ I have a website that a friend forced me to make that has everything about me on it: You should be able to find more there. I’m glad you commented; don’t feel unsettled about reading my thoughts – my actual private diary is much scarier. πŸ˜‰ So good to hear from you! We’ll have to stay in contact on occasion a little bit now. πŸ™‚

      • It’s a widget in your dashboard. I think you can just drag to your sidebar or header or wherever you want it, unless you don’t want it. I like to follow by email so that I don’t miss any posts, and I just realized this morning that I lacked a few of my SW’s in my email.
